Venture X Debuts in Tampa with 30,000-Square-Foot Westshore Location
Venture X is bringing its first coworking location to the Tampa Bay area with a 30,262-square-foot lease at Harborview Plaza, a property owned by Cousins Properties. The flexible office provider will take over the entire sixth floor and is set to move in by January 2026. The building marks Venture X’s ninth location in Florida, further expanding its footprint in the state’s growing coworking market.
Harborview Plaza is located in Tampa’s Westshore submarket and offers easy access to Florida State Road 60, in addition to interstates 275, 4 and 75 connecting it to the broader region. Tampa International Airport is also nearby, and downtown Tampa lies just eight miles east. On-site amenities include a complimentary shuttle to the airport, a conference center, a fitness center, a café and multi-level parking.
Cousins Properties has owned and managed Harborview Plaza since acquiring the office mid-rise from Highwoods Properties for $49 million in October 2015. The Class A, 205,049-square-foot building sits on a 6.7-acre site and was completed in 2002. The property features a strong tenant mix, including Milner Inc., Mercer, HCA West Florida Division Office and First American Title Insurance Co.
JLL’s Executive Vice President, Jim Moler, and Senior Vice President, Deana Beer, represented the property owner in the deal, while CBRE’s Senior Vice President, K.C. Tenukas, negotiated on behalf of Venture X.
