Clockwise Expands Its European Footprint with a New Workspace in the Heart of Brussels

Leading flexible workspace provider Clockwise has reached a significant milestone, marking a new chapter in its growth strategy with its first independent management agreement. The agreement, secured with Patrizia, a major real estate fund, brings Clockwise to The Louise building in Brussels, cementing the company’s commitment to providing flexible, premium workspaces across Europe. Scheduled to open in Summer 2025, the 3,350 sq. m space at 149 Avenue Louise will serve as an innovation hub for businesses in Brussels and beyond.

Clockwise’s newest location places it in the heart of Brussels’ business and cultural epicenter, near luxury brands, five-star hotels, and leading corporate headquarters. Dubbed the “Crossroads of Europe,” Brussels’ strategic location and multicultural environment make it an ideal choice for Clockwise’s expansion. The Louise will be Clockwise’s second workspace in Brussels and its 18th location since the brand’s founding in 2017, underscoring its rapid growth and success in providing flexible workspaces that align with the needs of today’s dynamic workforce.

The initial Clockwise location in Brussels, launched in 2022, has already become a thriving hub for both large multinationals and emerging startups. The latest expansion comes as the brand sees increased demand in Belgium, where a multicultural and multilingual business landscape primes local companies for international growth.

“We’ve seen great success in Brussels already, and the newly opened Clockwise Antwerp has also been well received. We know there’s increased opportunity in Belgium which is why we are confident in boosting our brand footprint in this fantastic country. Our new strategy, to forge partnerships with other landlords, is integral to fulfilling the potential of Clockwise. I am excited to work with Mark Dansky as the recently appointed Head of Acquisition, to deliver this ambition.”

-Alexandra Livesey, Chief Operating Officer of Clockwise,

The Louise building embodies Clockwise’s commitment to sustainability, wellbeing, and cutting-edge technology. With eco-conscious facilities including 190 bike spaces, bike charging areas, and electric vehicle charging stations, the building achieves a BREEAM Excellent rating for sustainability. The workspace will feature over 300 desks in private offices and dedicated workspaces, as well as a club lounge and meeting rooms—all designed to create a welcoming, productive environment that caters to the needs of businesses of all sizes.

The extensive gardens and terraces on multiple floors will offer Clockwise members an ideal place to enjoy fresh air and recharge. Moreover, a range of healthy food and beverage options will be available within the building, adding to the overall member experience.

Driving Growth and Innovation Under New Leadership

Clockwise’s Chief Operating Officer, Alexandra Livesey, has spearheaded the brand’s ambitious expansion, growing it from three sites in the UK to 13 locations and extending its footprint to Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany. Livesey’s leadership has been pivotal in refining Clockwise’s growth strategy, particularly through partnerships with landlords and external stakeholders, which has allowed the brand to diversify its offerings and reduce operational costs. This new model, exemplified by The Louise, is set to accelerate Clockwise’s expansion and create a blueprint for future endeavors.

In addition to physical spaces, Clockwise continues to innovate with the launch of Clockwise Campus, a Metaverse-based workspace where members can connect, collaborate, and engage in a virtual environment inspired by its real-world offices. This digital extension reflects Clockwise’s vision of creating a connected, adaptable workspace community.

Clockwise’s move into The Louise marks a key milestone in the company’s evolution and a strong endorsement of its commitment to supporting modern, flexible workstyles. With a keen focus on sustainability, community, and cutting-edge technology, Clockwise continues to redefine what it means to work flexibly in today’s world.
