Coworking Giant Industrious Solidifies Texas Footprint with New Space in Austin

Industrious at 3rd & Congress is a brand new 20,573-square-foot coworking space that Industrious has announced in Austin, Texas. For the opening of this space, Industrious has worked in collaboration with PGIM Real Estate and HPI Real Estate and Investment Services.

The flexible workspace, Industrious’ fourth in the city, is located at 301 Congress Ave., PGIM’s 22-story office building. The operator paid $240 million for the 418,388-square-foot facility in 2015, according to CommercialEdge.

251 desks, 35 offices that can accommodate groups of up to 20 users, 20 phone booths, and four conference rooms are all available at Industrious at 3rd & Congress. On top of that, weekly happy hours, limitless color printing, a health area, and daily breakfast and snack options are just a few of the amenities included. The ground floor retail area, conference center, and Tacodeli restaurant are also accessible to tenants.

Less than a mile from downtown Austin, the 301 Congress Ave. building is close to Interstate 35 as well as a number of eateries and shopping establishments. Tenants of the site include Cordell & Cordell, Teza, EDF, NinjaOne, and Morgan Stanley.

With a primary focus on sites in mixed-use communities, where residents may take advantage of a live-work dynamic, Industrious is quickly diversifying its holdings in several markets. After adding a 23,489-square-foot coworking space in downtown Houston in July of last year, Industrious at 3rd & Congress is the company’s ninth location in Texas. The operator of coworking spaces is also present in other popular Texas locations, more specifically, Plano and Dallas.
