New Convene Location to Open in March in Midtown Manhattan

Located at 5 Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, “Venue 42 by Convene” is a brand-new meeting and conference facility recently announced by upscale lifestyle hospitality operator Convene. Approximately 30,000 square feet will be occupied by Convene’s Venue 42 on the fifth level of the 1.1 million square foot building.

Vice president of managed services at Convene Alex Adelman said: “The way we work has changed greatly the past few years and, with it, the way we think about the workplace.  Companies are not just demanding quality spaces, but a hospitality-driven experience for their employees. We’re seeing the flight-to-experience manifest at Convene where Midtown Manhattan continues to be one of the top-performing markets for us.  Demand for meeting and event space in the area remains strong and we’re proud to once again be partnering with RXR Realty to create an exceptional amenity space and conference center at 5 Times Square.”

This marks Convene’s seventh partnership with RXR, which has a track record of providing enhanced workday experiences, to help amenitize one of its assets to draw and keep tenants.  Convene’s first-rate corporate meeting and event spaces offer everything required for a turnkey experience, such as fully-serviced event production resources, catering, and a specialized A/V team for in-room and hybrid tech. The spaces are deliberately designed to optimize cooperation and productivity.

Nine meeting rooms will make up the upcoming Venue 42 by Convene, each of which can be specially set up to handle a range of events, including corporate or social events, conferences with breakout rooms, and town halls. The largest meeting room at Venue 42 by Convene can hold up to 240 people.  The space is scheduled to debut in March 2024.

Convene has expanded its global network to include 40 premium meeting, event, and flexible office sites across its portfolio of brands. With the addition of Venue 42, the company becomes the largest single provider of specialized meeting and event venues in North America and the UK.
